CEO Gary Rinehart Leaves TRC

Chief Executive Officer Gary Rinehart has concluded his term at Tablelands Regional Council (TRC).

In an email to all staff, Mayor Rod Marti expressed gratitude for Mr Rinehart’s contribution and dedication over his more than three years at TRC.

‘Gary’s working knowledge of local government, including the Local Government Act, is first class and his considered decision-making was a hallmark of his tenure.

‘His steady, measured style helped progress TRC’s vision and maturity as an organisation.

‘We thank him for that and wish him well in the future.

‘Council will continue to keep the organisation on an upwards trajectory as we deliver important services for our community.

‘The task of local government is a relentless one and, while things will change at the top, our ongoing focus, professionalism and dedication to service through every level of the organisation is key.

‘Our Leadership Team is here to ensure continuity and support across the organisation,’ Mayor Marti said.

Hilary Jackson, General Manager Community and Corporate Services, has been appointed as Acting CEO.
