Warning area — people at risk (PAR) 1 and 2 for Wild River Dam

This warning is from Tablelands Regional Council.

Wild River Dam near Herberton is rising rapidly and is 500mm over the spillway. Alert level 2 has been activated and the people at risk (PAR) have been notified, as per the emergency action plan.

There is no current risk to the community outside the identified PAR who we have contacted.
