Tablelands Regional Council is hosting a free forum on advanced care planning for later life.

‘This forum, during National Advanced Care Planning Week, recognises our commitment to supporting our community to age well,’ said Hilary Jackson, General Manager Community and Corporate Services.

‘The forum’s expert panel will provide information on wills and estates, and packages, assessments and financial implications when dealing with My Aged Care.

‘You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with services that can provide assistance.

‘It’s important to consider advance care planning so that we can make decisions and communicate our preferences about our future health care,’ Ms Jackson said.

The forum is 9.30am-12.30pm Friday 22 March at the Coordination Centre, 15 Vernon Street, Atherton.
