Evacuation Centres Closed
Issued at 7.35pm Thursday 2 November 2023
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services has issued:
- a Return With Caution Advice for properties on Herbert River Road, Brodie Road, Rienecker Road and Petersen Road at Innot Hot Springs
- a Stay Informed Advice for properties between Broken Gully Road, Top Nettle Mount Misery Road, Silver Valley Road, Shady Creek Road and the Kennedy Highway, and surrounding areas at Silver Valley and Innot Hot Springs
- an Avoid Smoke Advice for Herberton, Irvinebank, Watsonville and surrounding areas.
The evacuation centres in Mount Garnet and Ravenshoe have been closed.
Residents who evacuated from Innot Hot Springs and Silver Valley can return home with caution, and need to ensure they stay informed.
