Join us at a celebration to acknowledge the connection made between Tablelands Regional Council and Mareeba Shire Council through the completion of the rail trail between the two regions.
8am Saturday 7 December at the Walkamin Social Club Park, 1–21 Kurrajong Street. Cyclists, walkers, runners and horseriders are encouraged to try the new and existing rail trail on Saturday.
The celebration will include the cutting of the cake and speeches. Tea and coffee will be available to purchase. The Atherton Tablelands Rail Trail is a 38km shared path between Atherton and Mareeba along the old railway corridors
