Rocky Creek War Memorial Park just outside Tolga is located on the 2/2nd Australian General Hospital laundry and medical stores site. The hospital was the largest military medical facility in the Southern Hemisphere. Today the park displays unit and personal plaques that honour the men and women who were stationed on the Atherton Tablelands during WWII. Informative signs provide information on the history of the site and the region, and war artists.
Pick up fresh food, produce, plants, crafts and so much more at the Tolga Markets on the first Sunday of the month.
