Tableland Fish Stocking Society
Fishing in the dam offers a safe outdoor activity from bank or boat for families and gets kids off screens. Some of the best anglers in the district have grown up on Lake Tinaroo and their success brings tourist anglers to the region.
Tableland Fish Stocking is run by Volunteers and has been improving and promoting the Atherton Tablelands for over 30 years
There have been great catches recently and the Lake holds 20 IGFA Barramundi World records.

Atherton Tennis Club has been in existence for over 100 years in the Township of Atherton. It has four plexipave courts with a clubhouse and has a range of opportunities for players of all levels to participate in the great sport of tennis.

Atherton Pistol Club is an affiliate of the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (Queensland).
We host a wide range of rimfire, centrefire and air pistol matches, as well as rimfire rifle matches.
Pistol shooting is a rare sport where people of any age from 11 up and of any physical ability level can compete as equals.

OBJECTS OF THE NATIONAL SERVICEMEN’S ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIA (QLD) INC.

The objects for which the association is established are –
(1) To improve the general welfare of all National Servicemen through charitable, community, recreational, educational and patriotic activities.
(2) To promote fellowship and camaraderie between Members.
(3) To educate the general community about the aims and activities of the association and to otherwise promote the good name and objects of the association.
(4) To promote within the general community knowledge of the defence, security sensitivity, independence, freedom, military history and general welfare of Australia and its citizens.
(5) To recognise and value the service National Servicemen have given to Australia through the establishment of memorials in local community and the conduct of annual services to commemorate the service.

The Inner Wheel Club of FNQ Tablelands is a not-for-profit organisation.
This amazing group of women meet once a month on the second Tuesday of the month at the Atherton International Club at 11.30am.

QCWA provides a space for Queensland women to connect, collaborate & create an impact in communities.

Atherton Men’ Shed

Yungaburra Landcare Group Inc is involved with maintenance of the walking tracks and plantings at Peterson Creek in Yungaburra. This area has become very popular with visitors and locals hoping to see a platypus in the creek. The landcare group meets on Friday mornings (8 am) at Allumbah Pocket at the bottom of Penda Street in Yungaburra.

The Rotary Club of Atherton has been a community service club in the Tablelands since 1947.

We partner with the Rotary Club of Mareeba in organising and staging the Award winning biannual Rotary FNQ Field Days.

The Rocky Creek Igloo WWII Heritage Venue was restored by the Atherton Rotary Club and is managed and run by Atherton Rotary Club and the hall is available for hire as a wedding venue and formal functions.

The club is an active not-for-profit raising funds, supporting and donating monies to local charities, individuals and various groups.

Meetings held are held the second and fourth Tuesdays, 6.00pm, at the Atherton International Club. All Welcome.

Tableland bridge Club promotes the stimulating mind game of contract bridge. We have 2 playing sessions a week, and also provide lessons and supervised play for beginners and less experienced players.
