Atherton Tableland Hockey Association
Atherton Tablelands Hockey Association (ATHA) has been a family-focused club promoting hockey in the Atherton Tableland community for over 80 years. ATHA players have represented the Atherton Tablelands throughout Queensland and Australia. We are proud of what ATHA has achieved and aim to continue this amazing legacy. Family-focused games are played each Saturday at Loder Park, Grau Street in Atherton.
Atherton Bowls Club
Atherton Bowls Club is a friendly, all-inclusive bowls facility for all ages. We have a modern covered green, licensed bar, air-conditioned clubhouse, club bowls to use, and wheelchair access to all amenities.
Tablelands Country Rowing Club
Our club’s focus is very much on fun and fitness. We supply all the equipment – you just need to provide the commitment and a can-do attitude!

Yungaburra Beautification Inc is a group of volunteers, dedicated to the beautification of Yungaburra.
Atherton Basketball Association Inc.
Tableland Tigers Atherton teams are only limited by the number of players registered, volunteer coaches and referees. Our club offers teams from Mini Ballers U10’s, Boys & Girls U12’s, U14’s, U16’s, U18’s plus a senior men & women’s competition. Everyone is welcome from beginners to experienced players.

Yungaburra Bowls Club
Yungaburra Bowls Club is a friendly, inclusive lawn bowls facility in the heart of this picturesque town. We have a modern Green, club bowls to borrow and wheelchair access to toilets and clubhouse. Our bar is well-stocked, and you will find a club full of enthusiastic, supportive members. All games offer afternoon tea, and we participate in most bowls competitions around our local Far North Queensland area. We also have club competitions yearly, including Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours for both Men and Women. Our social games are enjoyable and designed to be fun rather than too competitive.
Atherton Cricket Club
Atherton Cricket Club caters for all ages and abilities, from 5-year-olds trying our sport out for the first time to veterans keen to get back into it. Girls, boys, blokes and ladies are all welcome!
Tablelands Folk Festival
A folk festival gives participants and attendees an opportunity to express their differences and celebrate their unity with the Tablelands Folk Festival’s promise of magic-through-music being delivered year after year. This festival is now a part of the DNA of this wonderful township of Yungaburra (Janggaburru) and reinforces its rich cultural traditions as well as new and innovative music and art. Volunteers are integral to the success of the event!

We are FNQ’s premier dinghy sailing club. We run family-oriented club days, learn to sail courses, and support high school sailing programs. Tinaroo is arguably Far North Queensland’s premier dinghy sailing club.
