Council meetings are generally held on the fourth Thursday of each month. They start at 9am when in the Coordination Centre at 15 Vernon Street, Atherton. At other locations they start at 9.30am.

The meetings held in the Coordination Centre are live streamed and recorded. Live streaming via the internet allows you to watch Council meetings in real time without the need to physically attend. This gives you greater access to Council decisions and debate, and eliminates geographic barriers preventing the public from attending meetings.

The public meeting, and live streaming, will be suspended to allow for matters to be discussed in confidential session. Links to meetings and recordings will be made available here, and promoted on social media a few days before the meeting. Live streaming links will appear against the meeting date, and meeting recordings are further down the page.

If an ‘Open Microsoft Teams?’ message pops up when joining via the live stream link, select ‘Cancel’ and then ‘Watch on the web instead’. There is no need to download or use the application.
