Community Engagement on Future of Pavilion

Community engagement on the future of Patrick English Pavilion in Malanda has commenced and Deputy Mayor Dave Bilney is looking forward to hearing from a broad range of people.

‘The pavilion has reached the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced.

‘The community is invited to share their preference for a community facility in Malanda by completing our online survey by Sunday 18 August.

‘We’ll also be out and about in the community including at the Malanda Markets on Saturday 20 July and 17 August, and in English Street, Malanda in the afternoon of Friday 26 July.

‘The results of the consultation and recommendations will be presented to the ordinary Council meeting on Thursday 26 September,’ the Deputy Mayor said.
