Join The Rail Trail Conversation

Tablelands Regional Council is inviting the community to contribute to the development of the Atherton Tablelands Rail Trail Strategy.

‘The strategy will outline the management of the Rail Trail for the next five years and inform a range of factors including branding, points of interest, funding and the vision statement,’ said Cycling Advisory Committee Chair Deputy Mayor Dave Bilney.

‘We want to hear from all trail users about how they use the Rail Trail and suggestions they have for its future.

‘You can contribute online and we’ll also have staff on the trail with surveys.

‘We’ll go back to the community with the draft strategy around March next year, and have it finalised by the end of the financial year,’ the Deputy Mayor said.

The survey is open until Monday 6 January.
