Wonderland Props Workshop for Young People

Tablelands Regional Council is hosting an Alice in Wonderland-themed Stage Prop-Making Workshop to build glow-in-the-dark props for the Sensory Night Garden at the Atherton Show.

‘This is a great opportunity for young people (aged 12–25) to be involved and learn new skills,’ said Councillor Kylie Lang.

‘The Sensory Night Garden is an important part of the Atherton Show — providing a space for people to hang out away from the noise and flashing lights.

‘We’ll provide lunch and, best of all, participants will receive a free show ticket,’ Councillor Lang said.

The workshop is 10am–2pm Sunday 23 June at Merriland Hall at the Atherton Showgrounds and you need to register by Thursday 20 June.
